I absolutely love this nail training finger and hand set, and I’m honestly annoyed I didn’t buy one sooner.

I’ve been doing my own DIY gel, builder gel, and hard gel nails for almost a year now after having my nails professionally done for 15 to 20 years. Until recently, all of my practice was done on plastic swatch nails. They are fine for testing colors or basic designs, but they do not come close to the real thing.
This practice finger is a total game changer.

The finger snaps securely into the base and holds its position really well. That means you can angle and maneuver it exactly how you need to, just like working on an actual hand. It does not flop around or feel cheap, and that alone makes it worth it.

What I’m most excited about using this for includes practicing gel removal with an e-file without risking my own nails, testing designs before committing to them, working through accent nail ideas ahead of time, and practicing extensions and shaping.

I like to run through designs first so I know what works and what doesn’t, and this makes that process so much easier and far less stressful. The kit itself comes with a surprising number of accessories for the price. It includes multiple nail tips and extension tips, dotting tools, brushes, a sturdy nail file, and even clippers. Nothing feels flimsy or useless, which honestly surprised me at this price point. You can apply tips, remove them, and start over again as many times as you want, which is perfect for learning and experimenting.

And the best part is the price. This whole set is around ten dollars.
For that price, it is incredibly impressive. It is perfect for beginners, DIY nail enthusiasts, or anyone who wants more hands-on practice without sacrificing their own nails in the process.

I’ve been wanting one of these for a while, and I’m so glad I finally grabbed it. This will absolutely be part of my regular nail routine going forward.
