Ok, lets be up-front, I really love this dress. I was debating between a Medium and Large (for arm length) but went with my usual Medium, and it works well. For reference, I’m 5’10”, 150–155 lbs, long arms, and typically wear a size 6–8 or Medium.

The fit is very flattering for a bodycon style. The fabric is a thicker ribbed knit, not thin or flimsy, and it smooths everything without highlighting every little dimple. It feels structured and good quality, and it’s not see-through.
Sleeve length: I have long arms…looong arms, and the sleeves just hit at the wrist, any shorter and I would have severely regretted not getting the large. They don’t have the extra-long look shown in the product photos, but for most people, the sleeve length will probably be perfect. If you’re between sizes and want a little extra sleeve or body room, you could size up comfortably.
Neckline: The square neck is slightly softer and more rounded on me, than the very sharp square shown in the listing photos, but still super flattering and comfortable to wear.

Length: This is what makes the dress feel classy. It’s bodycon, but the length keeps it tasteful. You could absolutely wear it out, but it’s not overly short or scandalous. It works for date night, dinners, events, or even a more dressed-up professional setting with the right layers. Having long legs, the length of a dress can really make you or break you. Too long and it can look like I’m prepping for a flood, too short it can look like a shirt. But this length, really is flattering.
A very nice black dress staple option…or if you’re a black dress collector like myself, this one makes for a nice addition. Tall girl approved!
