There is nothing better than a soft, easy summer dress that you don’t have to think about.

This blue floral sundress immediately caught my eye, flutter sleeves, square neckline, lightweight fabric, and that effortless “throw it on and go” vibe. And honestly? The fabric is one of my favorites I’ve tried this season.

It’s incredibly soft, lightweight without being sheer, and drapes in a relaxed way that doesn’t cling. It feels breathable and casual, but still feminine.

But here’s the part most listings don’t tell you, but I will…height matters.

The Tall Girl Reality (5’10” Review)

I’m 5’10”, 155lbs with a longer torso, and I ordered this dress in a medium. On me, the waist seam hits around mid-rib cage instead of my natural waist.

That means: It doesn’t define the narrowest part of my waist and it creates more of a relaxed, slightly boxy silhouette. It doesn’t have the same hourglass shaping shown on the model.

Is it a dealbreaker? No.
But it’s important.

If you’re petite or average height, this will likely hit exactly where it’s intended and give you that cinched, flirty look.

If you’re tall or long-torsoed, expect more of a soft, empire-style placement rather than true waist definition.

What I Love About It

The fabric…it’s soft and breathable without looking thin.

The playful length…it’s short, but not uncomfortable, or too showy for my preferences.

The flutter sleeves…feminine without being overwhelming, and it’s easy to style casually for spring or summer.

This isn’t a structured dress. It’s relaxed, feminine, and comfortable, perfect for beach days, casual outings, or warm weather errands. And the pattern is a little more detailed than just basic white flowers

For tall girls, just go in knowing it may sit higher than expected.

Overall? It’s one of my favorite lightweight spring dresses I’ve tried so far this year simply because of how comfortable it feels.

And sometimes comfort wins, and for $28…its good quality and value.
